Its really not all that bad. Since you're Air Force, I assume you'll be on my side of the country (at either Ramstein or Spangdahlem..?) and it's really pretty open around this area (especially if you're at Ramstein, you won't even realize you're not in the states the majority of the time.) When you're out traveling around it can be a little bit of a pain but mainly just because you attract so much attention to yourself in a city like Berlin in a truck. I typically drive to whatever city I'm visiting, find a nice sheltered garage not too far from my hotel and leave it there the whole weekend while I use the trains and buses, there's really nothing in the way of parking in the major cities even for Smart car-sized vehicles.

what base are you pcsing to? i'm at spangdahlem right now. unfortunately i sold my truck when i got over here. plenty of tacomas on base though. i haven't heard of any problems with the tacomas over here. once in a great while you'll see a hilux.

edit: there are a few guys on base that have ram mega cabs. those are the guys that i would assume have parking problems... lol. there is a guy in my shop that has a dcsb and hasn't had any issues with parking or getting around.

heading to spang! I may have issues selling my DCSB before I leave, so I may just bring it. For how expensive gas is over there(if i travel away from the gas discount rate places) I don't think I'll want to bring it anways. I'm currently in the afghanistan and I'll only have about a month to sell it when I get back before I head to instructor school - so we'll see!

personally, i would keep it. i joined the military as a late starter. ended up taking a big pay cut when i switched from the civilian world to military, resulting in me needing to sell my truck. gas on base is cheaper than some places in the states, depending on where you're coming from. once you get to base you will receive an esso card. the card is good for any esso station in germany. you can load money on the card and then pay u.s. prices for gas at an off base esso station. i know plenty of people that do that, travel, and have no problems at all. most of the time, if you travel to some place far away, people use ryanair. ryanair is cheap and flies to many popular places around europe. hit me up in a pm if you wanna know anything else.

Thanks, lots of hard work and love went into the lights and I couldn't be happier!

Thanks, I wanted something that was different from the all black or full color matched. I cant take full credit as I got the idea off another member here.
