Blackdog, do you still have the pictures? I am considering this mod for my 04 Taco, but would like to see your picks before I tear into mine.

Yes i will sorry. Been busy.

However, 01-04 corner lights are different yet again

I posted a link a few pages earlier to TTORA that had a guy that did an 01-04 light. Takes a bit more work but for some reason as the tacoma got newer..the corner lights got smaller. So its really tight for 01-04s.

Hopefully someone else has some good pics for you too.

As he said ^, the best way is to do it like this: *see attachment*

You will need to cut the mounting area out of your old blinkers and shape it, as best you can, to the blinker housing. What gaps you still have will just be filled in by the silicone. Mine work really well that way :D

...otherwise you dont have enough room inside the blinker housing. (I know from personal experience  )

LED? this mod uses all stock bulbs and housings. no wiring is required. Unless you are wanting to put LEDs in.

Here is my new way of cutting out holes too. Heating up a copper pipe and then just burning out a hole. Much easier and cleaner. Still takes a lot of filing to get it perfect but this is easier then drilling and less prone to self inflicted damage.

These lights are for a 98-00 i believe. Im cutting them for someone else so i can't totally confirm that they work yet..

    pipe i used..

Cut it out from the original blinker lights. Just take a dremel with a cut off wheel to it.

Or I found it just as easy to take any straight-blade saw with smaller teeth and you can cut it off just fine that way too. Just make sure to get as much of the fitting as possible so you get as much clearance from the housing as possible
