Hi guys, with much remorse, I am trading in my 06 Tundra, 4x4, v8, off road...........75k miles, perfect condition, new michelins...not one issue with it in 6 years.....best vehicle I have ever owned, by far..!!!........for a 2012 Tacoma, 4x4, v6, off road, tow package. Thought long and hard about it......hope I made the right move.......picking it up this morning at the dealership........convince me I made the right move. I don;t need a big truck nowadays, only tow a small boat a short distance, but, do need 4wd and the off road capability for the Maine dirt roads when i go up trout fishin ;)

here is the exact truck i am picking up today

    Welcome to TW from FL

    :yay:

Nice looking truck. I think you'll love it. As long as you didn't NEED the full size, the tacoma will be good to you. Have no remorse! They even have a Tacoma in their banner!!!

You'll miss the V8, but other than that you will love the truck every bit as much as the Tundra IMO

No way you're gonna have any regrets!! Tacoma: best all around truck in my opinion

So... why the trade if that Tundra was the best vehicle you've ever owned? Didn't seem like it had too many miles on it or any problems  The Tacoma is physically smaller but doesn't get THAT much better MPG so just wondering what prompted you to trade?

thanks, taking it fishing in the Maine mountains next week, all dirt roads, many of which are not maintained.........and the worse the road, the more trout in the lake at the end of it ......I am already salivating, and not for the trout, wink, nod, wink ;)
