you know i dont understand and im not being a hypocrite but there was a time in my own life when i questioned the existence of a God and Jesus Christ and I had always thought that we were just kind of here by chance and there was no other answer but as i matured and began to realize that you can never pass judgement on one thing until you try it and as my life was passing by i began to form a relationship with God through Christ and there is absolutley no way i will ever question their existence ever again. The day i hit my knees and asked Christ for his forgivness is the day a terrible part of me truly died and risen from the blood of Christ was a new more whole me... the fact that you assume my morals are in question is the reason why pride and selfishness are the base of sin because without excepting the fact that you have lyed, cursed, put another down, ect. is why at the end of this life we will all stand before The Great White Throne of Judgement and will either be covered by the blood of Christ or face down before the Almighty God those who have not accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour will be judged and the second death they will suffer to spend eternity with satan. The bible speaks more truth than any man, to sit down and skim the pages of revalations (the last book of the bible) is more than enough to put question in any mans heart of his eternal destination. The fact that Christ died for all of us, to bear all the sins of the world and be spat on and beaten by those who despised him is the example of true love from the Father and the Son for all mankind. i know that their are several people in my life i would be willing to give my life for and i know that they would do the same, to know love is to know God because without God you have no base of morals or love.

no thats no true and i can argue this all day because the opinion of man does nothing more than hurt others... because a man helps an old lady with her groceries does not take away from the fact that he hides a past of lies and guilt thus making him an immoral person. I do agree that religion has caused many problems and even the death of serveral in past years, but the book of God calls for faithful following and to spread the word of Christ without war or conflict of feeling. to worship Christ is to worship by his teaching and his word, to live in/through him not to put others down because they do not but to witness them and teach them no matter how many times they reject you. to live through Christ is to know the Grace given from his mercy and to be willing to share it with others not to preach the ways of a methodist or baptist or a catholic ect. but to make eyes open to a better way of life. i am far from perfect and i have made many mistakes in the eyes of God but when the spirit of Christ flows through your heart and he calls your name from a place where no one else can see or hear and you are brought to a peace few in this world know, it is more than enough reason to believe and spread his word, because i truly want for you what he has given me and i want others to know and see. not to long ago my ultimate goal in life was to be rich and look down on others and i wanted to be the one everyone else envied. like i said i am not a saint but i know what came on my heart that day when i turned to Christ and gained a second look on life, my lies, my jugdement on others, my selfish/lustful/inconsiderate desires they all came out to the feet of Christ that day, i know where i stand before any other man on this earth because this life is not for me, its for him and i am gladly willing to give it up just to one day stand in his presence.

Not going to address it point by point because I don't want to risk the wrath of Chris, but can't you see that you cause conflict with by witnessing to those that don't wish it (no matter how many times they reject you...)? That is pretty much the definition of religious intolerance and harassment... Also, while cute, saying "May God bless you" to those that don't believe is kind of a slap in the face... At best it is insensitive, at worst it is intentionally antagonistic.

 

so someone who was an dick his/her whole life yet repents to god on their death bed is a morally superior person to someone who was a philanthropist and genuinely caring person, but did not waste their life abiding by the "commandments" of a book written by cave dwelling middle easterners.

repenting to God on your death bed is just that a death bed. the holy spirit through which is that of Christ must be present, anyone can repent half heartedly, it means nothing in Gods eyes. the only recorded death bed confesion is that of the thief who was crusified beside of Christ. repenting is not a means of ducking out of ones past, God does not promise unending happiness after excepting Christ in this world he actually warns us of greater trials and temptations to cross our paths. as for philanthropist and genuinely caring people, yeah by mans low standards they are good people but that does not cancel out a life full of mistakes, as is my own life, i will never be able to imitate a life like that of Christ, im not saying that when i look at someone i automatically decide since they dont follow Christ i despise them, i dont mean that at all. but for the God bless you, its a showing of love and care for another human being, to show concern for their lifes path not to be a slap to there face. as for the cave dwelling comment i honestly dont feel the need to address that because at one point and time man had no other means of shelter yet had enough common knowledge to get out bad weather so i veiw that as just hateful stereotyping.

when i say God bless. i mean if there be any troubles in your life may he help you through them to comfort you and grant you peace in time of a hearts war. dont take it as me pushing on you my own beliefs,but my way of showing care for your personal well being.
