    Sold it on Craigs list last night.:(
    So sad to see it drive off with the keys in some one elses hand.
    I loved that truck.

    It will get a new life picking coffee beans in Guatemala!

    Yeah, it was terminal rust cancer that that made me have to "put 'er down" after a 19+ year relationship. Salt kills.

    The frame (full box frame) completely rusted through where the forward leaf spring bracket is welded on. On the passenger side it completely collapsed into the frame, and only gravity was holding the chassis on the axle. The driver side will probably be not far behind. When the axle twisted sufficiently the brake line sprung a leak above the gas tank. My mechanic said it might not be fixable, and if it was, it was going to cost way more than the truck was worth. The rest of the box frame was SOLID.

    The thing that kills me is that the engine and drive train are perfect. I parked it in my back yard in early Dec and didn't touch it until 2 weeks ago when I thought I should start it before I sell it. I feared a dead battery or worse.
    It started the first crank without hesitation. No stuttering or smoking. I would love to have had another couple of years together.:(

    There is more to the sales story, but that will have to wait a bit (still at work)
