bigger tires and odometer

So I'm looking into just hopping up to the 265/70/17's but was wondering if jummmping up just one size would mess up my milage reading?

 

slightly. maybe one to two miles an hour I believe. Somebody has a handy dandy little chart I saw. I'll see if I can find it before they do.

Ya I seen the chart and heard that if you hop up one size it actuall corrects the speedo.I was talking about how many actual miles are on the vehicle

 

Yes it will mess up your odometer, making it appear that there are less miles on the vehicle than actually true. By going up to that size, you will be off by ~3.3%
