Best M/T hwy miles?

What's the best M/T tire that gets most highway miles?

 

Probably Toyo MT or BFG KM2. My dad is running KM2s on his tacoma and is seeing pretty good life out of them on the road. But I cant tell you for certain.

 

I'm on Toyo M/T's now...

 

M/T's arent meant for highway. You shouldnt get a MT if on-road miles is the priority

but FWIW, from what I've heard km2's or MTR Kevlars have the longest tread life.
KM2's are the quietest though

 

KM2s, I'm hoping to get at least 40k miles on mine. MPGs is OK for a M/T... Don't expect to get good MPGs with a M/T with how heavy they are..

 

I'm getting 15mpg now, considering I'm running 4.56

 

Heard good things about Hercules Trail Diggers as far as wear, road noise, and mileage.

 

Really liking mine.

They ride really well for a M/T.

And much cheaper than any of the previous mentions.

 

Ah forgot about that! That's always an important factor.

I don't see much talk about them on this forum but everything I've read says micky Thompsons mtz's last forever. You get the occasional bad review like any tire. I have them now but only put 1k on them. They are by far, hands down, the quitest mt I've ever owned

 

I was impressed at how quite the km2s are as well. No experience with others though.

 

My Toyos lasted well past 45,000 miles. I just purchased some KM2s, I will keep you updated.

 

In a sense, that's like asking us which McDonald's double meat patty burger has the least calories. A M/T is not meant for the highway, why not get a decent A/T terrain tire like some Goodyear Duratracs, Hankook Dynapro, Michilin LTX AT2s, or Nitto Terra Grapplers?
