    HEY guys. new taco owner as of yesterday. cant believe i actually have a tacoma lol. never expected to get one.

    well im curious if the trd CAI and exhaust are legal here in CA

    i live in santee. if there's anyone in my immediate area that would like to meet with me and talk to me and teach me about my tacoma.

    also i noticed the fiesta island meet. i think i may go to that if newbz are allowed. ill bring some guacamole if i can go.

    To touch on what Greg said, all the TRD upgrades sold by Toyota are CARB legal ( California Air Resourse Board) the CAI ( new) comes with an approved CARB sticker you place on the underside of the hood, likewise any CAT back exhaust is legal as you are not directly making changes to the smog system and or components.

    When I was talking to the parts guy at the dealership he said Cai wasn't Carb legal. That was a year ago. Has that changed.
