    Got mine from WhiteKnuckle Off-Road. These are bolted on, but I had to drill. John, from WhiteKnuckle recommends the rails be welded if they are used for serious rock crawling.

    14 5/16". I know that's a lot, but they are not coming off very easily. He supplies the self-tapping bolts, as well as the 8 bolts that use existing holes in the frame. If you drill these yourself, you'll need to buy a cobalt bit as the frame is hard to drill.

    On the Sliders, is it better to have them bolted on or to weld them on? Also, if you weld them on, what all needs to be done to repair cutting the welds out to repair the damage if you ever decide to remove them?
