1989 pickup rotor replacement

    hello all

    getting ready to do pads and rotors on my 89 pickup 3.0 auto 4wd w/o manual hubs..

    any hints to make it go smoother.. i have no manual and will be flying by the seat of my pants..

    Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
    Pull the wheel off. Pull the brake caliper off. Pull rotor off and reverse process!!!! Oh... put the pads on somewhere in there!!!

    on a more serious note... do it like you would any other pads and rotors. It shouldn't be harder because of the year.

    Yup finished it all up last week.. those pesky little cone washers gave me a run for my money Hahaha.. new pads pins rotors calipers bearings races and seals.. thing is rolling smoother than factory hahaha

    thats good to hear! I am waiting on my knock sensor to get done then hopefully she will be on the road for the first time since i bought it... 2 months ago...:(
