Seems like a TON of people are going, and they have sponsors. Pretty sure I'm going if I can outfit my truck in time. You should go regardless - lots of people are jumping into other trucks!

 

Thanks, if I make it there in time then I'll check into that thread but I won't be leaving from NY until 5/13 and we have lots of stops on the way so it's doubtful.

and no. i thought about it. but i REALLY want at least a lift tires and rock sliders before. bumpers would be nice as well. i may try to next year. i looking at it for me it is 1.8 days and none stop driving. so say 2.5 days or so because i would have to stop and get some sleep and all.

 

notmaking it this year, but i'm trying to plan a cross country wheeling trip with a few people for next summer. moab may be one of the destinations.

 

Call me crazy, but where is this MOAB meet? I am thinking desert, but not sure and that link is way too long for me to sift through.

thats crazy, i just googled it with directions, its 2200 miles away from my house, 1 day 14 hours. that would be one hell of a road trip. Dont see anyone listed from florida as attending. Maybe next year we could do a massive road trip.

Yeah, all the group buys for armor and things are packed b/c they're trying to get ready for the trip. It would be a cool trip to make from here, though. lots of land to see.

No one from FL looks to be going, but there are a number of people from the Eastern seaboard. Virginia, New York, etc.

Hell, it's gonna be a journey for me from Los Angeles. Am thinking of keeping my 265's on for the trip and then switching to MTR's when there - try to save on gas. My first trip in the truck was to San Antonio to check out the Tacoma plant. Did extremely well on gas - surprised me!

 

exactly. considdering texas. they actually have 2-3 major wheeling parks. I really want to do colorado and run the telluride pass.

 

yeah. and yes i was think take like a week. maybe see something on the way. i think dad would like to go, i would like to see yellow stone. dad retires in september.

 

Lindsay and i are planning a trip out to colorado and utah next year, late spring early summer..few stops along the way, but most of the time spent in co we hope. Would be cool to have a mini convoy out there.

Jeez, ya'll could start your own meets along the way. Or have Moab as a final destination that more people could join you on. Could be epic!!
