Anyone into R/C?

x2 on that, stampede 4x4 is crazy fun to bash

 

The Stampede 4x4 is pretty bad ass. I put it through some hell over 3 days. I am surprised it lasted as long as it did before it broke.

 

gahhh.. I don't know if I could bring myself to buy traxxas again...

 

I want something to handle, too though... I really like the ofna as far as "concept" goes..

 

you're not going to get anything that handles well with a ton of ground clearance. it sounds like you need one car as a basher, and another as a racer.

 

What about a Revo (electric) good clearance, good handling.. although you mentioned not really wanting to go back to traxxas

 

he wants it to run with his castle sidewinder sct. that would be wayyy under powered.

Dude, I went, twice to the fun fly in Huntsville this past weekend. Watched Alan Szabo and Nick Maxwell (and a few others, whose name I can't recall) fly, oh my fucking God!!!! I've watched a few guys doing some 3D, and a million vids on YouTube. But in person that stuff is truely amazing, it gave me wood.

 

That 1/10scale truggy looks fun. Dangle, correct me if I'm mistaken, but did you not say less than a week ago that you not buying anything RC wise, and had a chub for a scooter?

 

so hows those intricate electric setups going. do you have a stethoscope with 100 feet of line connected to your car to make sure you don't miss anything.

 

Just fine, I actually heard a problem just last week, took a few minutes to locate, but turns out I had a bearing in my motor "starting" to let go. BTW fuck you!!!!

 

true story, u know how a racer knows a bearing goes out? motor catches fire. same goes with speed controls.

BTW, how's Mayfield, Tebow and Cavalieri doing, I'm sure you had lunch and talked shop with them today.
