Looks great Backwoodz. You just need a winch in there to complete the front end. What tires/size did you go with again? I think you said it but I am too lazy to look back :D

I ran Fierce's on my Tacoma.. not a bad tire for what I paid. The sidewall was trash, but I wasn't crawling so it wasn't too terrible.

    i don’t think i ever posted this.

this happened a few months ago. but my friend wes that has the FJ. parks in their big garage separate from the house. it has like 18x9 or so garage door. his snowboard rack got hung on the rope that “frees” up the door so you can lift by hand. it landed on back tire, like 1/4" from falling between the tire and door/glass. scarred the crap out of both of us! so guys with roof rack may want to make sure it’s not close to that rope. or it may land on the fj as you back out. he cut about 6” to 8” off.

he can’t fit in the 2 car that is part of house. they have like a 2000 Square foot garage about 40 or 50 feet from house. they have their tractor and boat in it as well. the door is prob 18 or 20 feet tall maybe about 9 feet wide.

i don’t have pic on my phone any more or i would post them.

I can possibly hook you up with a set of these....

    "IMG00383-20111008-1029_f795e9ae39269bf39df5be833276b20499c81d93.jpg

These are really well thought out product and short of not running a swaybar at all this is the best compromise for both off and on. Allowing independant operation of each front axle from the other through the majority (bout 80%) of the travel, and allowing the swaybar to kick in as normal at the upper and lower ends of the suspensions travel.

With the circlip in place (bit hard to see in pic below) the rod/link is solid-
    IMG00411-20111106-1159_3d4024c59fc726c6cca1048c187a62a2a2cfe56f.jpg

With the circlip removed the shaft slides up and down as the suspension travels. The Uniballed joints work great considering the angles the links goes to as the suspension cycles....it doesnt just stay vertical through suspension travel but as the suspension droops, the lower ends angles out as the upper end on the steering knuckles goes inwards.

Driving recently with them disengaged, with my current suspension setup you can hardly tell they are disengaged at all "on the road", with my previous suspension kit I had fitted, I trialled not running a swaybar and the front end was very boaty feeling on the road round corners...current suspension valving is spot on....am considering ditching the swaybar altogether soon."

^ Looks interesting. How is clearance when the wheel is compressed in wheel well while wheeling?
