That's the thing though... I don't want a race-dedicated r/c. I really like the ofna but from what I can tell most people are running it on 3S.. Then again, this motor is a torquey little booger. I like the idea of getting a savage xs ss and putting my electronics in it.. It's just a hair too small for my taste. Hell, a 1/12 4wd would be cool.

^^That's pretty cool. Good price, too. Not enough travel, though..

This vid is making me lean towards the ofna more and more. Dude is running the same stuff I would be with the exception of ESC and Servo. He's running the Mamba Max Pro, but the only on 2S. So, I don't see how there could me much of a difference.. I may get a 3S later on.

Guys I think something has gone terribly wrong with my sc10 diff/tranny. driving yesterday I noticed it was sort of "loping". I got to to looking and the outdrives look like they're loose... I drove it a little more in slow tight turns in hopes to get the diff to magically fix it self and then it started to chunk a little bit and now it's not "differentiating" at all. It's driving like it's completely locked up. Which is cool, because I can do a donut on blacktop and the inside front tire stays in the same place but it still making some god awful noises..

I'm thinking either the bearing that hold the diff in place the the tranny have gone out (not likely because all of the gears are still meshing fine) or one of those pins that hold the outdrives in place has slipped out and wedged itself inbetween the spider gears. This seems most logical because only one of the outdrives is wobbling... I think.... I guess I'm gonna have to take the whole damn tranny and diff apart again and see what happened... Anyone know a way to keep those pins in place? I could probably just shim it tighter and that would do the trick..

I'm just guessing, I haven't a clue. Just got home from the track, three of us went out and brunt a couple of batteries. I think it's more fun when it's only a couple of fellows show up.

t4, how often does your shit break? I would think by now you've got your rigs (and driving style) straightened out to where you rarely break things... what's your secret?

I lost a screw on the bottom of my shock tonight. I replaced it and the other one with longer ones and put a nut on the exposed threads so it don't happen again. Honestly, I don't break much at all. I don't bash, if I run mine, its on a track.

What's messing with me is I don't really bash my truck that hard. I'm either driving on my track (which is kinda rough, to be honest) or driving it in my driveway/yard/street.) I think running the slipper a little too tight and being on blacktop is what hurts it. Along with the track not being all that smooth making landing jumps a bit... spectacular sometimes... I'm getting to where I'm sort of "maturing" into it a little bit. I'm leaning more towards the racing side. After my buddies get their track done I would say I'll get more into racing. And honestly, the ofna might be better for that..
