Tell me about it. Chevrolet and Ford used to actually make something people with testicles would drive, now you just look like a ****** in one of those plastic rides.

I guess Toyota kicked so much ass they had to sell out in 2004, I wouldn't mind a 2nd Gen Taco but It would NEVER be able to withstand the abuse of my truck.. 360,XXX of abuse.

Ya'll are entitled to your opinion but please don't bag too hard on my boy Greg in that so called "fail". That was awhile ago, he was a noob, & the pressure was on when you have a few watching you, soooo he forgot to put it in drive. Yeah it was a fuck up, no harm no foul & he's been a much bigger man & a good sport about taking some shit when it happened, I think most of us have a "fail" or 2 . On the up side he is the only one I've ever seen go up Diablo drop off in a prerunner (he's LSD not even a locker) successfully the first time, when any of you do it, well then bag away if it makes ya feel good. I was just impressed I not only pulled him out (in park of course) & was actually picking up speed, 1st gen. gotta luv'em

lol....We all need to be "the joke" from time to time. Last time I was at a meet I got stuck at least 5 times. Luckily no one got any pics of me getting pulled out :anonymous:

I bet he remembers to put it in drive now :D

What fun is wheeling if you never push the limits and get stuck?

    Very true.

Few months ago I got stuck in a mud hole. was going up a trail in 4lo then when the trail smoothed out i popped it into 2lo. after a little ways I saw a mud hole and thought, I can get through that. when I tried I just couldn't make it up and over the lip on the other side. Took me a solid 5 minutes of trying different angles to realize...I'm in 2lo...not 4...

    Haha, exactly...:)

    :eek::eek::eek::D

The year , 1976 .. I'm 18 been working & saving my ass off to buy this 1972 Dodge PowerWagon from the old man down the street, I mean this fucker is cleeeeann !! only 28K on the speedo..

I get the ok to pick up the truck, I'm so nervous about getting it I actually have to puke before I get there, so I hurl, take a deep breathe, aahh much better. Ok its Friday afternoon about 3:00 pm , me & 2 friends take possession of said truck.. "Hey, lets see how it 4 wheels.!!"

.. Now the time is just before 4:00 pm & my new truck, my baby is hopelessly stuck in a ravine with both bumpers hung up...:facepalm:

You could literally walk underneath it without ducking your head, thank God we ran into those 2 mexican fellas with shovels in hand..

It matters not that they were out there digging up cactus & recovering peyote buttons (hallucinagenic)

I mean they DID have shovels, 2 hours of digging & we're free

& you can believe that I never put myself in that situation again.... we all fail sometimes....:D

I drug a crew cab Dodge Ram up a steep ass 1/4 mile long hill of pure sugar sand. He was buried down to the frame when he realized his 4wd didn't work... 4 low and 35 swampers ganked him up and out, and drug his heavy ass all the way up that hill.

After that drug a boat up the same hill (we were cleaning up an area of the woods for my son's cub scouts... the boat was "litter" and god only knows how long ago someone dumped that out there in the woods). My son just said "wow dad, that truck is waaaay bigger than your big red toyota. How do you pull him up the hill like that?" Told him it was magic :)

Also pulled an explorer out of a sand/muck/mud bath that it was buried about half way up his doors in. That particular mud hole only "looked" like it was about a foot deep, and overall diameter of about 10 feet... looks can be deceiving! (even though I drove right through it without missing a beat after I yanked him out)

I used to have a video of the ram, I'll have to see if I can find it. Never mind the CV axle clicking like crazy the whole way up the hill.........
