TX PRO BAJA

I saw one of these up close at super cross this weekend, pretty cool havn't seen a 2012 period let alone the baja. I was wondering if anyone know what bilstein shocks are in the rear. they are exactly what I am looking for. remote resi, doesn't need an eye-stem adapter and good for 1.5 inches rear lift. if anyone knows a part number for these or if they are limited edition for the baja. thanks.

 

yeah thats what I was wondering if they are just using an existing shock or are these "special"

 

I didn't see where it said how many inches of travel they are good for... how would these compare to lets say icon rears with the resi?

 

You would be better off geting an extended 5150 for that price wouldnt you?

Saw this http://blog.caranddriver.com/toyota-tacoma-trd-tx-baja-series-package-starts-at-34450/ today and what caught my eye is the coil springs at all 4 corners. So does that mean a multi-link rear axle?

that would had been a hell of a retooling and engineering R&D for just one model truck, would had been awesome tough.

 

how much travel does a standard off-road TRD package truck have btw?

 

if you want to overpay and don't plan on upgrading suspension, go for it.

 

I kind of figured as much. Thought they may have thrown the fj or 4runner axle. Just was like a " UH WHA?" moment.
