Will this setup be too stiff in the rear or will it be fine?

Front will have maxtrac spindle, 5100 billies set 1.75.
Rear ome dakar leafs, 5100 extended shocks and 1" block

    Rust, lots of rust
You'll be fine, and you might not need that 1" block.

Comparing to stock, this setup was pretty stiff for me. I wasn't very happy with the ride, so i was looking for options. After reading about how everyone loved the ride after removing the sway bar, i figured i'd give it a shot. The difference it made was night and day, I will never put that damn thing back on. What a difference!

Get rid of the block and you will have a nice setup.

Has anyone had the VSC issue with MaxTrac spindles?

Bilstein 5100s (Front & ext. Rear), Eibach coils @ 0, MaxTrac 4" Spindles, Light Racing UCAs, 1/4" lean spacer, All-Pro 3" Standard leafs, u-bolt flip kit, SpiderTrax 1.25" wheel spacers, 33" (285/70/17) TreadWright Warden A/T tires, extended lines
Actually I had VSC issues before the spindles. It would come on here and there rarely, but it would catch me off guard. I have this one turn on the way back from work on a windy road that the sharpness and lean of the turn ALWAYS caused my VSC to go off and veer me to the opposite side of the road. It was like an experiment every day haha. Previous setup was Eibachs at 1.75 + 1/2" spacers up front, short 5100s + TSB + AAL in rear. (completely level)

Now with the spindles, Eibachs at 0 (+lean spacer), better all pro leaf pack in rear and longer (beefier) 5100s....no more VSC issues.

I believe it could be the fact that with the very slight lean (front about 1" higher), and the better handling in the rear made the truck ride better and not freak the VSC, although I even did remove the sway in front....

So confused... people have been blaming the VSC issue on the "Bro" lean, steering wheel, yaw sensor, ABS sensor, etc. I wonder what ProComp did different in their VSC lift?

 good luck! With out using blocks I am not sure what your options are... Most of us have a slight bro lean or just level with 4" lift springs...

MIGHT TRY ALCAN SPRING FOR A CUSTOM PACK... not sure about shocks for that though... :D
