Work has been killer, wanted to test these badboys out this weekend so DMZ Tim & crew hooked it up and installed the TC spindles and Heimed UCA's for me.

I was gonna install them myself but Im glad I had him do it, he spent a good amount of time taking the heimed UCA's on and off and adjusting them, trying to align camber. Adjusted my toe, and gave me a general alignment using his old school alignment tools.

Took it to Firestone, using my 'lifetime', and got the traditional shit from the mechanic when they saw I had an LT kit. I told them that my fabricator adjusted the heimed UCA's and straightened toe as much as he could. They just need to mess with the caster. When I picked it up the tech said " you cant be any happier with those numbers". I dont know anything about the degrees and measurements but he said that he got everything pretty close to OE specs.

Drove the truck today and it has never driven this straight. The steering doesnt have slop like it use to. When you turn the wheel, it turns! no slight delay. And on the freeway its so responsive I can steer using my knees LOL

Sorry for the long post, but usually the more you make your truck a dezert truck you never see these "stock" luxuries again. The squeeks get louder, the MPG gets worse etc.

The arms sit in the middle of the travel now. Cant wait to see how it will run this Saturday now that droop/bump #'s are more even.
