I hear stuff like this from rabid republicans constantly. My god man get a grip. There is no legislation planned, talked about or concieved that is going to make guns scarce. You might not be able to get a 30rd clip with that but that is about it. Permit requirements for my state have not changed in over a decade in WA. I know people buying up ammo because they think the govt is somehow going to stop ammo sales. Are buying guns because "they are coming" after us. It's people like this that probably shouldn't even own guns.

14 month until I can get CCP. I want it for many reasons, but especially the one about the police protection. Police are NOT incompetent. The only way they could project us better is if they had real time surveillance, but that would send people into a big brother frenzy. Most importantly I go to VA Tech where no one is allowed to carry and if anything like the shooting ever happens again:

It has been proven time and again that in crisis or emergency situations, the police and other authorites are too overwhelmed to be able to respond to protect you.

    Therefore, you must protect yourselves.

In the intervening time that you call the police for anything, a crime situation could worsen.

There are not a lot of numbers on it, but some numbers do show that citizens who are allowed to carry and that have brandished a gun, have stopped many crimes.

The perp just runs away and the crime is negated. But the reporting of such is so little and under-reported, that we dont' see how many times the armed citizen makes a difference.

Everyone has a right to NOT be robbed, or molested or harmed in any way. Those doing the harm, should realize that if you live by the sword and live that gangster lifestyle, they may die by it.

No one believes they are going to stop ammo sales. What they DO fear is that they will start laser coding every bullet and casing making it so rediculously priced that they can't afford to buy the ammunition. You need to do a lot more reading to understand the other side rather than shaking your head at it.

I guess I am one of the "people that shouldn't have a gun" because I am going to the gun show this weekend to buy a couple thousand rounds.

Do a little research. See what happened over in Europe. We aren't paranoid. We are well educated on history and on other governments regarding the matter.

Regardless on any list or new bullshit laws, I will have a way of protecting myself, my family, innocent people & killing the ones who ask to be. That list is hardly all encompassing nor will it ever be as far as I'm concerned. Fabulous OP btw.

Either a government plant or a criminal rights activist. Someone so clueless that he thinks anyone can decide shit for others without majority or just cause is what it sounds like to me.
