Damn, I finally got a singular vote :woot: lol. i did find a S/C for $2,500 though. That is near the realm of worth it to me.

Well, I still have a pop n lock, backup camera, Drew's bedside emblems, and HID fogs to install :notsure:. I could buy a whole bunch of shit with the money I have saved up, but I decided that a S/C held more value to me...

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I wanted to do it at one point too, but the cost vs benefit killed it for me. If I had 5-6k to spend on stuff, it would be about 50/50 between truck and house. Either that or I would put it all down on a new car for Erica.

The thing that is shying me away from the S/C at this point is the fact that I am at 110k... I feel like if I start boosting now, I have to worry about head gaskets and shit. I also am getting done with school soon (December) and I plan on moving. I may need the money to cover moving expenses as well.

I highly doubt you will have to worry about head gaskets and shit at 110K with these trucks.

Just don't put NOS in it and blow your engine. I had a coworker who put NOS in his stock neon... Imagine what happened next. And moving can be an expensive thing.

True, and I agree. I am taking into account that boost increases the risk of something like that quite a bit. I kind of want to get out of school and into a more stable position to cover a mistake like that if I do happen to grenade my engine.

I would like to move somewhere warm(er). My first choice is Austin, TX followed by a couple other Texas towns, Portland, and San Diego. The things I enjoy doing most do not correspond with the weather we have here. It all will be dependent on whether or not I can find work.

If you want 4 seasons and stay west, go to Bend Oregon. I love Portland and all but I think I would move out there. Maybe Santa Rosa, California also.

    Possibly crazy... Don't know yet

Yeah, not really committed to any place as I am at the mercy of the work I can find. I'm not hung up on 4 seasons either, I just don't want one of them to be 9 mos of snow...

No on the cowboy hat. I hope I like it if and when I eventually move. I just like to golf/fish/etc. and those are not common year-round activities here. Don't get me wrong I love ice fishing and hunting, but I don't ski anymore and I sold both of my snowmobiles. I just do not partake in winter activities any longer.

Well, if looking into the Oregon coast I would say look at Newport or Lincoln City. If you don't mind the cooler weather, Seaside is one of the best cities on the beach up north. Also down south is Gold Coast or Brookings.
