Whats up guys.. new to the forum! Here is my truck and I'm planning on putting the toytec lift with spacer in the front and add a leaf in the rear. And im keeping my stock rims and putting 285/75/16 bfg ats on it. Im not doing any trimming but what would I need for it not to rub? If i need wheel spacers.. what size? and will I need them for front and rear?

Before you buy the spacer lift read this: http://www.camburg.com/toyota/00-06-tundra/read-before-buy-spacer-lift/

To keep your stock wheels and run 285's you are either going to need new UCA's or wheel spacers. If you don't want to drop the dough on UCA's you can get wheel spacers. I ran Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers. You will only need them in the front but if you want your stance to look uniform you should get them for all four wheels.

EDIT: I don't know why the link I posted isn't working, but it basically gives a bunch of examples as to why spacer lifts are bad and has a few pictures of broken shocks, shock mounts, etc.

Well if you use wheel spacers you are going to rub on the cab mount and front fender flare possibly. I can't tell you if your going to rub on the stock UCA because I changed mine out with my lift and I rub on the front of the light racing UCA's at full lock on turns. I have spidertrax spacers but haven't installed them yet due to the rubbing they are going to cause when I do and I will have to handle that at the same time I put them on. If you don't want to trim I would suggest going with a smaller tire. Also which lift specifically are you looking at?

Ah yes thanks for saying that. If you don't want to have to trim at all I would suggest going with a 275 tire instead.

danggg killin me.. Thank you guys.. so my cheapest route is to add wheel spacers because I just looked at my truck and it is definitely going to rub on the UCA. And 1.25 wheel spacers will be ok if im not doing any big flexing?

I am not trying to burst your bubble only giving you some advice. The Spidertrax wheel spacers are $100 a piece. You will still rub some on the plastic )which can be easily trimmed off) and the cab mount when you are at full lock in reverse.

Medic is correct^^^ The trimming is minimal if you aren't doing any hardcore flexing/wheeling. 5-10 minutes with a dremmel and you're good. Go 285s :D

Might get there quicker with a grinder. :D Going to grind mine and weld a new plate on top when done.
