Tom - I bought a Hide-A-Hitch on eBay; complete kit with wiring harness, etc. Once I got my garage to loosen a frozenbolt on the frame, I was able to install it by myself in about an hour.

    morning all: nothing changing!
received a package of "slow death" mustad hooks yesterday. opened the package-NOTHING INSIDE . e-mailed the guy, and he said he's shipped hundreds of hooks like this and never had a problem, and that he would send me another pack of them.
NEVER HAD A PROBLEM? there's a 3" opening on one end of the package, and a 2 3/4" opening on the other end, that was never taped up. what the heck, they could easilly come out of there.
LETS SEE: damaged carb, shipped wrong carb, books that were OK, and now empty pkg. 1 thing right out of 4 aint bad ????????

OK, so I have a common as dirt, Schwinn Mountain bike. Have not ridden much over the last few years. Would like to ride back and forth to work this summer. When my mom was alive and I would visit her, I would take my bike along and ride a trail along the Youghiogheny River (the Yock). The trail goes from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. Follows an old railroad bed/track. Most I ever did was 35 miles. Beautiful scenery.

    Very nice Ken.

If you are looking for a project you could always paint the garage. I wish my garage was mudded up and ready to paint. The builder just hung the drywall with no tape or mud. I need to get off my butt and paint my garage.

Doing well on my bike. Riding twice a day for a half hour or more per ride. I did order a longer handlebar stem to rais the handlebars up another inch and a half. I have a 5 in stem now and ordered a 7 and 1/2 in stem.

Morning everyone... Hi Sue, I back in and the missus pulls in. .. that way we don't open our doors into each other:eek: saves on the dings...my neighbors can't beleive I back in and make it look so easy:D...

Hi Tom, painting the garage is on the to do list for when I retire. the mud looks good in pictures, but I need to sand it and make it paintable...builders spackler just slopped it on and that was it...didn't care cause at least it was done and it's the garage...Ken

I hear ya Ken. Everytime I look at my garage walls I just get discouraged due to the number of items attached to the ceiling and walls, the wires that are tacked to the same and the work needed to tape and mud up the drywall.

I just need to lay out the project and have at it. I would love to do a complete makeover but the CFO would object I am sure.

Took delivery last night of my 2012 Taco Dbl cab 4WD in Pyrite Mica. By the time I figure out entune I will be in a nursing home. I am amazed at the advances since I last owned a 94 Tacoma. This is a much more refined and impressive piece of machinaery than it used to be. Just wish the same was true for me lol!

Congrats on the purchase. I like the Pyrite Mica color. Really looks good in the sun after polishing and waxing the paint.

Stopped by and picked out a bike today. Ended up with a Cannondale Adventure 3 - a hybrid "comfort" bike...which means it has a cushy seat. At age 57 (on Moday) I'm way past wanting to ride on one of those dental floss seats. It's cloudy and cold outside so I haven't taken any pictures - here's a stock one from Cannondale.

I also went to my golf pro shop and traded in bunch of old clubs and got fitted for a new putter. Got $205 in credit and cleaned out the basement a bit in the process. Woo Hoo!!

Nice bike Mark. I have ridden a few Cannondales years ago and the bikes are very well built.
