    The steering isn't a problem. That picture was taken at full droop with the steering at full left. So what you're seeing is the most that the strap should contact the steering. It barely touches the dust boot even then. When the front is under static load to any sort of compression, the strap curls back away from the rack and tie rods.

    They're not just for Tacomas, they're for any situation where you want to limit the distance a certain part travels.

    Mostly used in off road suspensions to prevent shocks from over-extending and breaking.

    This happened on one of the last runs I was on:

    oh I gotcha, i dont off road my truck real extreme but i could see where these would be necessary. I like off roadin toys that are cheaper haha
