Okay so I have an Idea for how I want my trucks headlights to run but the problem is getting the switch back's to work right, let me explain...

2008 DCBL TRD Sport with factory DTRL's.

    First, how it will run:
When vehicle is on w/out headlights but parking lights activated, both the turn signals and parking lights (or side marker) will be running WHITE.

    When Headlights are on:
Turn signals or DTRL's will of course be off, but parking lights will be running AMBER.

    BONUS:
When making a turn, the side that is flashing the parking light will also be flashing with it (should help decrease blind spot accidents a little)

    Here's what I know:
*The DTRL's or turn signals, only run with two wires (most likely a +/-) as do the parking lights.
*The DTRL's work in a way that they activate the other color when they get the opposite charge, basically turned around.

So for example if i was to say run the DTRL's to the parking lights but reversed it would in theory turn them the other color.
(but what happens to the regular current?...)

Im trying to make it so when Im driving during the day I got 2 white lights on, and when Im driving at night the outer light is amber and gives the taco a little bit of that "semi" look. At the same time I would like to get them to flash so that If someone was in my blind spot and I didn't see them, they might see it flashing and an accident would be avoided.

I know I could get some fancy led's for that and put em on the mirror but for now this is what I would like to figure out. How to wire these switchbacks using the other lights.....
anybody got some insight out there?
If i knew that the DTRL's reversed the polar electricity when they were off that might be a big help.

Thanks for any help out there :)

P.S. Im browsing SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.COM and AUTOILLUMINATION.
    please check out this page:
    http://autolumination.com/switchback.html
to see what Im trying to work with. Parking lights are 194's and Turn Signals (DTRL's) are 4157's (3157's work for them too)

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Sounds like you're looking at a multi-relay setup :notsure:

The years of going to orange beach for spring break. I don't forget however that pier in the winter time. Not a fun place to be. Is that restaurant still on the pier? The yardarm i think it wass called.
