    OV gives up once the puck is turned over and he is supposed to play defense. It was blatantly obvious during the series with the Bruins. I don't blam Hunter for benching him when the game was on the line.

    Not surprising really, more people in the US but Hockey is arguably our 4th sport nationally. Not for us in this thread of course, but across the country it is. For some people it's 5 or 6 after golf and racing. With soccer growing so fast ... who knows. Is it picking up in Canada at all? Soccer that is..

    Soccer has picked up with the coming of indoor-soccer. It is too f'n cold to play soccer up here in winter otherwise. We play hockey 12 months of the year. We have so many indoor and outdoor rinks.

    Ovi plays tough; he had more points and hits than anyone else even with less ice time. He was getting fewer minutes because the B's crafted up a good scheme to shut him down. I'm sure if you look at the time Chara had, it would be less as well. Ovi couldnt step over the boards without Chara jumping over at the same time. When you have a player who is basically shut off, no need to play him 25 minutes. Please dont h8 on the gr8; caps rangers will be a completely different series. If his playing time isnt back to normal in this series I would be very surprised.

    Other than game 1 and game 5 Chara played around 25 minutes which is his normal. Seidenberg played around 25 minutes every game as well.
