Whoever invented body lifts should be dragged across the united states by an ugly ass vehicle with a 3". They are dangerous and stupid looking. Loose loose if you ask me.

    Big 10-4 there buddy.

What I really don't get is a complete 3'' body lift is about $300...and they are a HUGE pain in the ass to install...why the FUCK would you go through all that effort and spend that money to install such a POS product.

You truly have to be retarded to put a 3'' body lift on your truck.

x2, I've always liked Adam's work. Luckily, he's out of Platteville, WI where I used to go to college so I'll have to stop by sometime and pick up some goodies myself hopefully sooner rather than later.

Its a redneck lift. I see them all the time here in SC. I want HUGE tires and NO extra travel. Then ill put some cardboard on the frame to cover up that huge ass 3" gap between the frame and the body. It had to be a mexican or a backwoods guy from Georgia or SC that invented them. Sorry if your mexican or redneck, just sayin.

Well I am Georgian born redneck living in Charleston, SC so that was a double-wammy

Not a Mexican, so I have few toes left to step on

I honestly think that body lifts (which I do not care for myself) are the inexpensive route to give you that raised 4x4 look but in all reality you don't get any ground clearance whatsoever so yeah, for looks only...

haha, well I am a redneck...but I'm not a STUPID redneck. Stupid rednecks add body lifts...not smart rednecks like me

I can understand that...but they aren't inexpensive! a 3'' body lift isn't cheap...and if you dont do the work yourself, its acutally pretty intensive to add a body lift.

A budget suspension lift like bilstein 5100's and a cheap AAL like the procomp is a MUCH better alternative to a BL.

BL's are unsafe and ugly...IMO they should be outlawed....its crazy to me that someone would think its safe to prop the body of their vehicle off the frame 3'' with polymer pucks.....DUMB!!

    Oh really?
How long have you been running the deck plate mod on your 4cyl? And how long were you running the CAI? You have the dynos?

....err wait, you have a V6. Must have gathered that knowledge elsewhere.

Before my v6 I had 2 2.7L and 1 2.4L so my knowledge came from real world butt dyno experience :D

Butt dyno would be tough to tell either from stock. Real dyno probably wont show a difference either.

Who invented the body lift? I'd say a fairly smart business minded person who could cheaply produce parts and sell them for more just to give people that extra tire clearance. Obviously it sold and the person who designed it is laughing all the way to the bank.

Honestly, if it wasnt alot of work for minimal gain I would consider running a 1", just to clear the tires a little better.
