    No, not nerves. I'm looking forward to going back to work, but this job is all nights, every weekend plus 2 weekdays a week. I'd never see any of my friend or family, and the starting pay is about half of what I made on my last job. I'm just thinking that a guy with 30 plus years experience and also a recent college grad should be able to do better. I'm probably taking a chance by passing, but I'm leaning that way. I change my mind a few times a day though, so I'm still undecided.

    More, still... not sure if I have a real sink hole or if it was caused by rodents :eek: just know I stepped through the grass and sank ankle deep in a hole. Turned the hose on and the hole never filled up :eek:

    have a couple of other low lying, soft, mushy areas.... Hoping it's just rodents and nothing worse :notsure:

    Yes, you should be able to do better, but as a stepping stone....

    I'm a believer in the 'sleep on it' theory. If I don't get a good night's sleep after making a big decision then.... :eek:
    :oldglory: Glad he's home safe. Been to a couple of the homecomings here and its awesome.

    Well I know about unmarked mining shafts (grew up in a mining town) but not natural sinkholes. That does seem a little extreme though. Maybe its time to call in pest control people?

    Point taken. I can go for a while without a job, but not forever. And yes, the job offers are far between, so that's why I'm having a hard time with this. Arrgg!!:) Either way, the physical is Tuesday morning, so I've got the weekend to decide. I'm not usually one to bring these kind of things into the forum, but I guess I need to bounce this around for a bit.
