Debadged, tinted windows, 7 pin relocated, bed lights, 12 volt socket in bed of truck, on board air, auxiliary fuse box, grill craft, hella 500's, t-rex eyelids, pink budbuilt skids, icon remote resi coil over, camburg uca, alcan rear springs, ubolt flip, icon 2.5 remote rear resi shocks
Looks like there are plenty of lines on the obstacles that sliders ain't needed. I also don't have the bumper supports installed yet cuz of the way the Icon remote resi brackets mount up they both need the same space. Think I'm gonna fab up a new mount for the Icons. Plus I still haven't fabbed up a mount for the winch solenoid either. So basically I have no front recovery or rocker protection and I'm having second thoughts on going.

This is the only technical section of the trail.

You don't have to get up on the rock, but you do have to drive up high on the bank and get off camber.

There are "harder" parts of the trail, but there are also bypasses to those parts. This is the only part you cannot bypass and normally requires spotting.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being dirt road, and 10 being "shits gonn' break," this trail would get a 4.5.

John is dead on. I think some of its rating comes from the last part of the trail above timberline. The trail is almost all rocks. Not big ones but bouncy none the less. I wonder how much snow there is left?

Sorry man I have just visited CB before. But the weather here in spring can change every 5 minutes so you have to be prepared for it all.

It was open 2-3 weeks ago, per CO4x4.

I called just to make sure, the Forest Service says the trail closes "due to snow" but it is currently open and they said to "expect snow on the trail."

Left had was great. We hit up left hand main, upper carnage and fireman hill.
Truck ran great. The old ford didn't have any problems either, just took a few times to get around the tight switchbacks. He knows where the skinny pedal is so open diffs were no problem for him. I was expecting more out of upper carnage, really wasn't that bad.

I didn't see the turnoff that we took the last time out there after the first TW CO mod day. I am thinking that they block off trails here and there so they don't get destroyed.

I really didn't get the best pics or video but here is what I got:
