Need help fixing a sunfire....

    Hello everyone,
    This past weekend I had to change the waterpump and t-stat on the g/f's sunfire. She has an '02 2 door sunfire with the 2.2L OHV motor. Everything came apart prefectly and went back prefectly besides the one screw on the t-stat. I managed to get that fixed, but I noticed that the fan doesn't work. Just wondering if there is a way to find out why it ain't working besides her spending money since she is in school right now.. If anyone could help me out that would be great..

    uuuhhh...could be that it's a Sunfire and crap? I really don't know. Did you disconnect the fan in the beginning? Fuse blown? etc. etc...

    its a good little car and no I didn't bump or disconnect anything besides the battery

    its a good lil car
    my pops g/f has 1 and that thing has over 170,000 mi on it and has been over 10,000 mi on a single oil change multiple times
    the only thing i dont like about it is it has a small back seat

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    You can run the car until the temp moves up and see if there is a 12v. signal being sent to the fan, OR, wire the battery directly to the fan. If the fan spins when power is applied, then the problem may lie in the relay, or temp unit that controls the fan.
