Spark plug removal interference

Hiya!
2003 Tacoma 2.4L. How the heck do I remove the air intake tube, in order to change the spark plugs?
I've already changed the 1st & 4th plugs, which were easy to reach.
Arrrgggh!

Unscrew the clamps connecting the tube to the airbox and the throttle body.

You might need to twist the tube a bit to get it loose.

 

Cool! I'll try it. I was afraid I was going to have to remove everything back to the air cleaner.

 

You may need to take the box there to the left in the pic off too to get it out of the way. There's 2 nuts underneath it either 10 or 12 mm if I recall correctly and all of that will pull out of the way.

 

Found 'em. Two 12mm bolts.

Update:
You were absolutely right about those two nuts underneath the box. It turns out that the last person who removed the box didn't bother screwing the nuts back on, and it was just mushed into place.
I removed the two sideways 12mm bolts, which bolt the steel support platform for the box to the engine block, by mistake instead.
It worked, but it's lots easier to just be aware of the two nuts under the box.
Oh well...it's all done. I'll know better next time.

OK I know this is an old post but maybe someone might pick up on it. Your
saying that its absolutely necessary to take the throttle body tube off. No
way will they come out with it still on? It looks like there is a little clearance to squeeze them
out. I pulled the first plug and it looked pretty good so I put it back, now I have an extra
set of plugs. If I just have to pull the plugs it's real easy, if the tube has to come out it's
a real pain in the ass. I know I could just try it but I thought I might ask first.

 

Wow I must be missing something I never thought pulling the air intake tube was that big of a deal.

Unhook the wiring attached loosen the 2 clamps done.

 

I have an aftermarket intake tube so that might change things but I don't have to remove anything to change the plugs...

 

Mine connects to the throttle body which connects to a air box ( not sure what that's calls) that's
bolted to the engine with 2 or 3 bolts underneath then connects to the air box where (which gets jammed up by some wiring for an aftermarket alarm someone put in ) the wire harness is.
If you look on youtube at what some people have done you will see what I'm talking about.
Why would I go on line and ask this question if all I had to do was unhook some wiring and a couple of clamps?

 

I see different engine I did not see that!!
