I added some H1 projectors last weekend. It took forever to install. there are pretty much no instructions.

I also need to get updated pics of my truck bc it looks pretty much nothing like the pic on the front page.

I did too :anonymous: but I was single when I had it and did all the mods. Being married an having a kid has taken priority over this truck.
    Haha thanks :)

I like the blue instrument lights. Is that a simple change? I have never been a fan of the orange. You also speak of blacking out the badging. How do you do that?

for the guages you will need to take the dash apart, unsolder the orange LED's and resolder in new ones (whatever color you want). If you can solder then its not a big deal. Some people have melted their guages though..

For the badges all you need to do is get a can on spray on Plasti-dip.

check here for threads on plastidip

thanks, the soldering my be beyond me but I can spray paint with the best of them. Do the badges just pop off? and then do they go back easily?

with plasti dip there is no need to take them off. just tape off around them, spray away, then you can easily peel off the excess that is on your paint. check you tube for videos. its pretty wild the first time you try it!

Don't steal my tailgate Mod, Hardwired Valentine1 Radar Detector, Smitty N-FAB Nerf Bars, Led lights (Maps, overhead & rear License Plate), Debadged, TRD rim center covers, Replaced Chrome Grill with OEM Super White, PlastiDipped Toyota Logo on Grill BLACK, Distinct Offroad Custom light bar
Search the PlastiDip thread - mask off the paint leaving 1-2 inches around the badges yourself some room to (eventually) peel the PlastiDip off the paint. It wll adhere to the plastic TACOMA and peel cleanly off the paint. Freaking stuff is CRAZY

I got a ticket for my window tint being at 15%...I stripped it off and I will be adding 25 or 30% on the front windows.

    Such a waste of monies:(

I feel your pain Kev, here in LA we have "Brake Tags" and they cracked down on business passing people with illegal tint. So I had to strip the 20% on my front windows to pass an inspection, now I have 45% on my front windows and hate it...
