I still want to run the antenna like factory instead of tie it up under the fender. Has anyone already this and have pics? I'm sure its not to common but would still like to do it non the less... thanks

you could mount the antenna in the bed then run a wire to the radio

Just get an aftermarket antenna that mounts to the very top of the windshield.

I ran two on some other vehicles I had. Just unplug factory antenna run new wire from back of head unit to front pillar and antenna sticks top inside top of window where the dot matrix is. Not seen and radio reception is no problem.

Only down side is they are typically FM only. Cheap and easy to install.

I'm not trying to hide it... I want to mount it on the fender but the curves are different.

I would not want to dick with the fiberglass personally. You must make a good mount to hold it in place or else the wind and vibes will crack the fiberglass. That would be my reason

That actually looks pretty good TacoV... Any issues with anything at all? Cracking or anything? Is the contour about the same?

Thank you, no cracking and i've hit some stuff pretty fast with it lol. it mounts pretty much same as stock other then its leans a little towards the passenger side and not exactly straight up and down.

Oh really? Could it be mounted a little higher to make it stand up right?
