Did you paint your wheels gray or are they just really dirty?

not brave, just dumb. Also I didnt hit any of the level 3/4 trails. Is there a more prerunner friendly park? The trails were pretty tight, will a truck with mid-travel setup even be able to make it through?

they are really really dirty, havent washed the truck since may 2011. But when it rains i consider it washed.

Since you went in and around without getting stuck and robbed for parts you came out pretty good. Right now I'm not aware of any PreRunner open diff parks. Bridgeport used to have a section that was open diff friendly; but I haven't checked it since the last heavy rains.

My dad and I went down the spiderweb last time, and it has been dug out quite a bit in some spots it was weird to see it be actually almost more difficult than the Minos bypass and the spiderweb is only rated as one star lol.

Sadly those trail ratings are years old. I do think their current map is closer than the maps from last summer; but the trail ratings are still on the soft side.

Turned on the sprinklers for our designated 2 hours per week watering time, been running around adjusting them and noting broken ones. Now I'm soaked and I got water in my beer :(

getting "robbed", should I be carrying more than my minibat and K-Bar in TX parks? hahaha.

I just checked out the TX park thread. Not sure what I want to build my truck for. Its not really my daily but I do like beating on it and not caring if I run over shit or get a dent or scratch. Since it is 2WD I'm pretty much stuck with Baja/Sand or Mall Crawler setup :( I've been checkin out the all pro website and was thinking of giving them a bunch of my money.

If you want to do the off road thing let me suggest just getting a trail rig. I took my PreRunner off road at Bridgeport last year and was lucky enough to get a good deal on a trail rig the next month. I have never regretted the decision.

If I were you I'd just go with a good mid travel set up, but I wouldn't give all pro my money.

thanks for the heads up fellas, any suggestions on a mid travel set up? I was thinking of starting from the rear end forward, maybe some under armor pieces. Back to sifting through the project build threads

    what's that like $3000 :notsure:

    Kings $1000
    UCA $450
    Spindles $400 IDK

    Rear:
    Leaf Pack $450
    Shocks $300-400

Just buy a trail rig and you'll be much happier, and you don't have to worry about trail damage

It does sound cheaper but I just dont have the room for another vehicle...no rush really, enjoying the off road experience and people I meet along the way. Just my latest money pit automotive project.

For the most part off road folks are friendlier and more helpful than those involved in SCCA/NASA/Open road course track days. :drunk:
