so adam, at that concert tonight...I didnt even see it or realize it, but 2 of my friends told me that i knocked out some 17ish kid cold in the pit. I was running around and what not, and I plowed into one corner of it, got pushed back in and my friends who were standing up and back from it said that not 10 seconds after i moved on this kid got picked up and put limp on this other guy's shoulders...how did I not notice that! I also got knocked down at one point and it feels like my right thigh got stomped on, because its really sore and hurts a bit to walk. Entertaining night.

last official monday...god this semester has been such a cluster fuck. I actually cant wait for next semester to start so i can start off on the right foot and not screw my self the first 2 months of class and scramble to recover. I'm looking forward to doing better lol.

 

It's finals week for me!! Too bad the Army had to ruin my first weekend of summer by giving me a 3 day drill...

Damn. I was thinking I could get away with a 9' coax cable for my cb, but I just did a rough measurement and I will need around 12' or so.

For power to the CB, can I just pick a blank fuse slot in the fuse box and run a fused wire out of it?

 

you can use a 9' or 18' there is no 12' it has to do with the sine wave if the CB frequency. too complicated for me to explain but there is a reason behind it.

 

Haha. I figured I could start with the fuse box mount and if interference is a problem it won't be hard to go direct battery from there.

I read about that, but i also read several arguments that said that that was dumb and you should just use however much you need. If I run it right I still think that 9' could almost do it, so 18' would have to circle the bed twice or something to avoid coiling it up.

 

I used the full 18 foot on mine too

 

Oh yeah? hmm... like I said my measurements where kind of rough, but I was going to put the antenna in an ATO rail system mount. The rail ends about 6-12" from the tailgate, then run the cable straight down and under the 5' bed to a hole by the carrier bearing for the rear drive line and mount the cb in the center console. When I get both installed I will just have to run a string or something and measure it.
