trd supercharger

have a few questions i know if the dealer installs it it is covered under the factory warrenty how much was the dealer install ? if i do it myself how much was the reflash for the computer? and i was told that you cant change the exhaust or use a cai with the supercharger is that true ? thanks

 

The book says the install is 6 hours.In my area it was tough to find a dealer who will do the install in 6 hours.I finally did though.
You can use a performance exhaust but according to the warranty,a CAI or headers is a no-no.
Many go ahead and use both without any issues.
The reflash would probably cost at $100.
Dealer install warranty is the remainder of your 5'60 powertrain and a do it yourself or outside shop install is 1/12.
The TRD SC isn't perfect as my '09 is at the dealer with a SC problem after 1000 miles.I'm glad the dealer did my install.
