Bestop fit with truxedo??

Looking to order a bestop ASAP, but I have a truxedo cover already mounted. Possible to have both at same time? Yes...searched.

 

I will say no simply due to the mounting requirements on each product.

 

I would say no. I'm not positive on how the truxedo mounts to the bed but the bestop has clamps that uses the side of the bed rails.

 

You guys are right, just got off phone w/Rick @ bestop, one or the other unfortunately, which is extremely ghey. I think I may order anyway and use some classic caucasian modification. I'll post when I'm done......unless it turns out horribly wrong and I have to scrap both...

lol not a chance, there must be a way to have the tonneau roll forward then lift a top, or the opposite and have the top under the tonneau nice a clean. No?

Well you're the guy that wants a cap on top of a tonneau, or is that a tonneau on top of a cap. With a tall order like that you can't be too fussy.

I don't think it's too much to ask. In fact, I'm shocked it's not more widely done.

 

Most people want one type of top or another... and the rest want a toolbox or just an empty bed. You're asking for something no seems to have thought of, designed or wanted... so yeah it kind of is a bit much to ask for. Just because you can think of it, well not make it exist. If you want something so unique, you may have to design and have it produced yourself.

what is the point of having both at same time?!?! either have the bestop or have tonneau. i don’t(and like every one els) see the point in both at same time.

if you want “Versatility” get a snug top. you can lock it up unlike a soft top or just keep the tonneau. i don’t see how a best top and tonneau at same time is “versatility”
