contemplated adding some C4...

attempted fuel filter, failed. changed brake light bulbs and replaced stripped out screws.(I hope the previous owner fucking died.)

Pulled front diff for 4.56's and air locker



Noticed my CV boot finally split after 111,000 miles so I pulled the axle out



And the man in brown showed up with this so I threw it on too.

 

Thats about the point I started backing out.. I started to slide into a rut and yea kinda scary..

I wish you got pics from the back while i was doing that..

Pretty sure that most camper racks are only able to accept about a max of 200 lbs on the top. That all depends on what kind of rack though. I had one with pretty heavy duty cross bars and it only accepted 180lbs

 

i am going to need to do this..think ill mod my Wheelers Alcan packs

sorta..bit of both i think. The roof rack is going to be made mostly outa angle iron to help save weight.

 

Makes sense. I would wanna run it through to protech from the weather, but fishing wire through that much tubing is a bitch.

 

Yea, i think it'll come up the main support beam anyways. Ill end up running a 4 gauge power and ground cable up to each side of the rack. Then make some bus bars for the Ballasts to wire up too. Then from there ill make a small closed off lid thing to shield them..haven't got the far tho yet haha

 

hey now, im one of those dirt bikers lol! Going BRAAAAAAAAAP! Actually, no im not.. We park the trucks, get our gear on, and ride off for a couple of hours into the mountains (or desert) onto trails as wide as the tire. So no, never mind, im not one of those BRAP bikes in the play area, im out actually riding.

Headlights is usually the marker for me on crossings.

I've done many where the water was at about that level and Ol' Red is just fine
