    Lethal injection.
Too many ways for the other ways to go wrong.
Death by gunshot is neither quick nor painless, even if it's a headshot

The brain "lives" for 4 minutes after loss of oxygen... and that's the problem with most methods of execution. Hanging may kill the body, but the brain is still hanging around for a bit... no way of knowing what is felt during that time.

Gas chamber is, IMHO, one of the worst ways to go, followed by the electric chair.

Ya... lethal injection is for pussies and I'm a big pussy when it comes to my final moments on this planet. 3 injections, first one is a nearly lethal dose of common anesthetic. You're "out" before you're hit with the two lethal drugs.
I've been "out" before... I could handle dying in my sleep.

    Last meal?

I don't think I'd have much of an appetite. I can see myself just asking for a happy meal... but not being in that position, I can also see myself asking for a 14oz filet and garlic-mashed potatoes.

Lethal injection - prefaced by a 14 oz. filet mignon (medium rare), loaded baked potato, corn on the cob, cheese broccoli, garlic cheeserolls, and cheese cake with strawberry drizzle and French vanilla ice cream, all washed down with Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA and an Irish cream and brandy cappuccino.

    Now I'm hungry...

Give me a big ol' steak, medium rare. Fried clam strips. A big piece of cheesecake with fresh strawberries and some good sweet tea. Put a bullet in my head and donate my organs so that someone else can live from my death.

I take that back. Give me stale bread and tap water. No reason to waste taxpayers money for me to feel better about dying.... Still, a bullet to the head since its cheap and donate my organs. If you wont let me donate my organs, just toss me infront of a train since its free.

I'll take lethal injection for free please Alex....

And as far as the death penalty,I think it should be a bit more swift. You get your trial, your appeals and if still found guilty out the back of the courthouse you go. No living on the state's dime at a cost of 35k to 50k a year for 20 years.
Oh yeah...and the method ? Hanging. Rope is cheap and can be re-used.

If I'm up for a capital crime I won't make it to death row. I'd go out in a blaze of glory though, I'd rather die on my own terms than sit in a cell and wait for it.

While they are all wonderful options, I'd try to score an OD of heroin while in the joint.
