    like when turning?

    not that i have noticed, but i haven't really locked the steering out yet when turning. i've been driving the truck pretty carefully. when i take turns and what not..i am usually rolling and not locking out the steering wheel. good question though.

    off the top of my head i would say the big island has the best 4x4. you have about every off road terrain you can think of. rocks, sand, mud, trails...the sand 4x4 is basically just drive and go...no crazy jumping or anything.

    i havent noticed any rubbing...i check under in that area quite often too.

    is it pretty strict with where you can go off roading, like is the eco ppl saying dont trash the landscape

    not really. there are some private ranches and what not, but the good thing is you dont need to pay or have any kind of permits to cruise around. i know atleast 4-5 decent areas to 4x4 and they are all easily accessible and about 1-2 minutes from my house....but there are tons of places on the island.
