Well it doesn't look like a stock leafpack, i dont see a secondary spring w/bushing wrap & the overload looks more like a 1st gen .

But in any event they have a slight bit of ARC, the real issue is why so much spring gap (separation) & I think your trouble starts in the red...

Looks like your springs have taken a hard hit or 2 with a load

& I see that the overload IS a 2nd gen.

I'll be honest and say I really have no idea what you just said
Tell it to me straight, doc - is it serious?

The spring second from the bottom happens to be the AAL I think. the part you have circled is a small rubber wafer if that makes any difference.

Yeah I offroad about twice a month. All crawling stuff, nothing high speed. Springs may have hit a few rocks.

Ok, as far as your AAL goes, dump it, the fact that it is allowing the already flimsy upper leafs droop apart like that, in fact dump the AAL's & the next leaf up, get 2 chevy springs per side, one cut 26" on center (13" from centerpin hole in spring perch left & right respectively) this is because 2bd gens do not have eliptical springs like 1st gens. (I call them center offset, just makes more sense)

Anyway cut the one 26" overall & the other around 33"-34", same config. install

you may now enjoy your 2.75 3" lift, your better on road/offroad ride

& increased stability also for the next oh say 4 years before you notice any measurable drooping..

& in this pic you'll notice the tight pack & slight opening at the ends ...

This is what the arc looks like with 2 chevy springs added to the pack. This is a 1st gen though.

Brother, I'm looking, I gotta find the right ARCage for you or you're going to have to buy new springs, then you'll really be a sad panda

Ahh, I see. You'd think It would get pretty dirty under there, but if it works, hey sweet! I wanna put a cb in mine, but i don't really wanna sacrifice my ashtray(change compartment).

There are other places to put a CB than just the ashtray area... All else fails mount it and run an Aux speaker closer to you...

Throw a tape measure across your springs they should be around 2.5" wide & leafs are about 1/4" thick, take tape with you, repeat...:D
