Considering trading my Skewp'd hood for a normal one. Anyone desiring a Sport hood for trade. Color is Pyrite. PM me if interested and somewhat nearby. Mine is in excellent condition.

Dammit, I'm in Colorado and have a flat hood. I just bought a scooped hood and am in the process of finding a place to paint it. If you were local I would trade you in a second. Any ideas for swapping hoods? Each pay shipping?

Might have someone a bit closer. Trying to avoid the whole paint thing. Is your flat hood Pyrite? If so and this one doesn't pan out, we might be able to work something out.

I think it's been almost 10yrs now but I flew out to New Jersey to buy a Supra and drop it off with DAS and fly back. I had EVERYTHING arranged and paid for before I even flew out of Colorado. I showed up to basically sign paperwork and drop off the car. I asked a couple final confirmation questions before leaving and they said I had nothing to worry about, everything was more than taken care of. I would have my car in Colorado less than 14 days. Fast forward months and not only did I not have my car but they had managed to extort an additional $1,500 out of me here and there with excuse after excuse as to why I needed to pay more to get my car shipped. I ended up paying twice as much as I originally paid and their excuse was that it had to be transported via 'white glove' delivery to get to me because it sat low (even though I went out to the parking lot and measured with the manager to make sure this wouldn't be a problem) and they were worried it would get damaged. Finally, my car arrives late one night months after it was supposed to arrive and their 'white glove' delivery was a Ford F350 with a boat and tractor on a trailer IN FRONT OF MY CAR. This means my car went on and off the truck a minimum of three times when I was promised it would be loaded and that's where it would remain until it arrived. It was a MESS since it was on an open trailer and when I finally got a chance to look at it the front end was nearly tore off and there was damages all over the car. The kicker was when I called DAS to collect funds for damages that weren't on the contract I signed I was informed that my change to 'white glove' shipped nullified the previous contract and I verbally agreed to a new contract months later via telephone and the new contract had all the damages so there was nothing they could do. I could have sued them and lord knows I had a helluva case but I honestly just wanted to be done with it. I chalked the $ lost up to a learning experience and I swore to the managers I spoke with that I would make sure to tell this story to anyone and everyone who would listen whenever it came up in conversation. I have had it in my sig for over a decade now and have been very active on MANY internet forums and just the people who have told me that they canceled their order w/DAS once they read my story I have the total loss to DAS to be WELL over $50k since they screwed me over. Who knows how many read my story or say my sig and didn't even say anything to me about choosing someone else. Had they just taken care of my properly from the start I probably would have sent them business. Instead they clearly took advantage of me across the nation and screw me for pennies when it has cost them dollars over the years. They should be out of business.
