Have you attempted to install a sway bar relocate bracket?? Or considered taking your sway bar off??

^^ yup and yup...i've run mine for over a year w/ no swaybar and i love it. the stiffer aftermarket suspension deadens most of the normal bodyroll

I took my swaybar off a week ago and can barely tell a difference, it's a little different but not in a bad way; less fight from of the front to flex offroad too. Just take it off, but if you want to leave it on get a swaybar relocate kit, like $30 and it just moves the swaybar forward like 1".

Either way, taking the sway bar off takes 20min and installing the relocate takes 20min, both are an easy job.

I am having the same problem. Last night, I installed 5100's set at 0 on Eibach springs. The sway bar on the driver's side is hitting the bottom of the coil and spring support.. I just ordered the Toytec sway bar relocate kit. I hope this fixes the popping sound.

    Hi. New member here. :)

Not trying to hijack someone's elses thread, but I think I am having the same problem. On the driver side, the sway bar is rubbing on the coil. Makes a terrible squeaking noise. This is a 2009 Tacoma. Shocks were already on vehicle when I bought it used from the dealer. It was squeaking 2 weeks after I drove it off the lot. Is this something the dealer should fix?

I can look at the shocks and send better pics if that would help.

Learning as I go. First Tacoma, but still love this truck. :)

    Thanks

probably just need to purchase some swapbar relocation brackets if there are none installed. what type of coilovers are those? swayaway?

    Hi.

I don't know what kind of coil covers they are. Where would I look on them to determine that? I can take a few more pics if that would help. The shocks on the back are Nitro Charger.

    Thanks

i think most have the name above the threads on coilover. rears are yellow? rears sound like OMEs.

yeah...rears are OME. from the color on the bottom shaft of the front coilover, i think the could either be swaway or walker evans. walkers i've seen had red coils and have "allpro offroad" on the coils. they dont have the manufacturer name on top where the swayaways do.

So do you think the dealer should pay for the parts and the install of the sway bar relocation brackets?

Make your semi-independent front suspension fully independent front suspension by removing the swaybar. You'll enjoy the ride without it. Smoother on road & off. A very slight increase in body roll on road, but with only 1 shock & spring reacting to bumps & dips you'll get more flex & a better ride.

like 4wheelin said, yo can remove the swaybar if you want. you can go to toytec and get the relocation brackets aund install easily if that's the way you want to go.

with the aftermarket full coilovers, you should be able to remove the swaybar and not tell TOO much unless you take curves entirely too fast.
