    Advertising and Graphic Design. I like the whole aspect of the degree. Not a HUGE fan of logo design but I do like all the package design portion of it. Right now my biggest thing I would like to do is to seek a job at a local magazine and do some layout design with them to get some experience. Here is a magazine cover I had to do awhile back. Had to place myself on the cover of an existing magazine and design the front to feel like that magazine. So I did a shoot of myself with a blank skateboard and shopped in the board design from a previous project where we had to come up with a board design.

    I've been mowing for 3 years now, money is good, but I am ready for that steady income. :)

    There is a massive magazine conglomerate up here as well, Meredith corp, I believe owns something like 30-40 magazines.

    Sweet. :cool: I'd like to branch out of the area once I make a little $ and see how I like the surrounding areas. I love the area I'm in now...but more money can be made elsewhere. It's a bitch but thats what you get when you live in a small town. :eek:

    I believe August Home is also here in Des Moines. They have a number of magazines. I don't know if they are owned by Meredith or not.
