I only breath thru one nostril, so I can relate to your feeling. I've had surgeries that left me breathing thru my mouth for days also.

So I found out from a couple of LEOs that's its legal for an 18 year old to carry a handgun in their vehical. So I've been looking at a couple. I've decided on a 9mm (ammo capasity and cheap ammo) I've been looking at the Springfield XD9 subcompact $399 for 2 mags a case, bore brush, and a cable lock. Thoughts?

    Hmm...

According to my firearms instructor, the Springfield mags have been known to fail after keeping rounds loaded in them - essentially the spring fails prematurely over time.

I'm a big fan of the XD9, but for I decided on a Glock 17 for my "in truck gun."

ive heard this about every type of gun out there. total BS after a bunch of research. i ran into alot of people saying that keep rounds in the AR15 mags makes them wear out but its actually the repetition of cycling the spring that makes them wear out

I always keep my xd40 loaded, and haven't had any issues with it.

    what?

if his dad buys it then why would he go back to the FFL holder to give it to his son?

In TX guns are not registered. when someone buys a gun all they fill out is the background check paperwork. that is not registering it, it is simply checking to see if the person is legally allowed to buy it.

have your dad buy the gun. then he can sell it to you. the end

Don't make the drive to Krawltex unless you have really deep pockets. Krawltex does do awesome work, but they also charge out the ass for it.
