Sux that we live in a world when we have to lock our car, even when we're walking into a QT to buy a coke. Hell, I remember when you could go to bed at night with your front door unlocked (it helps growing up in the country).

how many miles on the truck? I say just replace it and be done with it.. they will go bad and break eventually.. better to be prepared rather than getting towed home.

 

No idea.. my truck had 140k or so when i went to uniball and mine were pretty worn.

I know toyota has them but i'm sure you can find some online that are oem spec. also try calling your local auto parts stores.

 

Up until about 2 years ago I felt safe sleeping with the window's open at night then we had a shooting a few houses down from a drug deal gone bad. Fucking pills have pretty much taken over my town and everyone under the age of 16 is a pill popper and the crime rate has gone up dramatically, now I sleep with loaded guns in the vicinity of my bed at easy reach.

 

Also when you get a chance jack the truck up and test for binding and flex and play in your front end. that might help you narrow the clunk down.

 

I wouldn't doubt it. In my town unfortunately its the same. I actually had a 28 year old grandmother working for me. She failed a drug test for 3 different things. Shit's getting weird in America.
