How much wheel travel with 3" lift?

I tried doing a search.

What kind of wheel travel are you guys seeing from 3" lifts and how much more out of extended travel coil over like icons/fox ext travel units?

 

standard 3'' yeilds the same as stock, with the ratio of up travel vs down travel changing slightly to give you the new ride height.

extended travels give you just under an inch of extra travel. assuming you use an aftermarket upper control arm.

 

Half true. the Light racing arms have more travel than required for ET coilovers, however I can't speak for the camburg ball joint arms.

 

so how much travel we talking ?

8"? 10"?

 

i couldn't tell ya. only way to know 100% without someone else coming in here with your exact setup is to take the spring off the shock, put the shock back in, and cycle the suspension

just trying to cover all of the bases.
