Dealers who performed the Suspension TSB

it has been so cold and me being so lazy... and I have 09 tacoma. I never looked under my rear leaf. I hate the cold sometimes, so depressing. The only good thing about winter is snowboarding.

 

I have a 2009 DC TRD and expected to get a hard time about the TSB

I called the 1-800 Customer Service # last week and got a case #. Gullo Toyota in Conroe promptly contacted me the next day.

I took it in this morning at 9AM and asked them if they had done one. One of the techs said he couldn't remember ever having seen one done. I asked if he needed the case#, and he seemed surprised that I had one. I explained that since it was a 2009 I wanted confirmation that the TSB would be done since my truck qualified by VIN# and part#'s. I explained the whole reason for getting the tow package was to TOW, and couldn't believe they would not have fixed it before selling me the truck. He did ask if I had experienced any problems and I told him I had a little sag on a load, but that I towed a lot and did not want it to be an issue when it got warmer and I started towing motorcycles/watercrafts. He said no problem, he'll check it out!!!

At 10:30 AM I got a call from Gullo and they said that they ordered the parts and it should take about 2 days to get them in. SO FAR, SO GOOD!!

They've done the TSB on both my '09 and my buddy's '07 with no hassles at all.

 

I just got my '06 Taco back today from from Bert Wolfe Toyota in Charleston WV and it all looked good. The truck rides better and sits higher. I'm glad I found this thread while researching some overload springs. And, it was done for free under warranty.

Another plug for Toyota of Dallas. Got my suspension TSB done with no hassles.

 

Elmore Toyota on Beach Blvd in (westminster/HB), they even installed my 5100 during the TSB fix for free.

 

American Toyota in Albuquerque was good to me. Got it done just like it was supposed to be. No BS.

Bob Tyler Toyota in Pensacola, FL. Gotta watch them a lil bit. But when I asked for them to make it right they did...and they cleaned my truck to boot!!

 

Got mine done at Earnhardt Toyota/Scion in Mesa, AZ only took a little convincing to get them to do it on my 09.

 

They did their first one on my 08. They didnt do the alignment and when i brought it back they wanted to charge me for it. Other than that it went well, they didnt call me when it was done though.

 

2009 Frank Toyota SAN DIEGO.

I know a lot of people have been having issues getting the 09's done but my dealer said it's taken case by case so no issues with Frank toyota. Mine are on order!

 

Premier Toyota in North Platte, Nebraska did it for me. Service manager actually fought Toyota a little for me to get it done. Real small dealership with nice people. I will give them more buisness in the future. More dealerships need to realize a little help goes a long way with customers.

 

Dan Cava's Toyota World in Fairmont, WV. No problems at all. Everything went very smoothly.

Alamo Toyota in San Antonio Texas did the rear/front spring and shock TSB for my 2008 4x4 Double Cab Taco.

 

Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon, Indiana. Service Manager Mitch Scott, very knowledgeable about the TSB, drives a Tacoma. No hassle, called in my complaint, he ordered parts, they arrived the next day and I had it done the following day.

 

Lia Toyota, Albany, NY. They have done a few '09 Leaf Spring TSB's.
