I know we all have one. I'm talking that one, POWERFUL song that you just have to blast your stereo to because it sets off an eargasm in your head. The should be songs with clean beats and powerful chords...not rap.

    Lets hear em sound buffs!

    LoL. I'll start.

If you can find a good copy of this song.... it sounds amazing when cranked up. It excersizes all of my speakers fairly well. If you get a crappy quality download the bass gets a little muddy though. Haven't found it lossless yet.

Another one from them, a little slow to start, but I love these guys.

Although I have been known to crank up some Hans Zimmer occasionally :D It sounds amazing but doesn't really push my speakers like I want. It is however, pure nirvana to hear a clean system and a really amazing composer/orchestra.

Ah yes, a very good choice!

Korn is some of the most powerful music these days. Unfortunately, some of their older music isn't really recorded very well. Freak on a Leash is a great song, but not clean enough for me these days to wanna crank.

All bass no filler :) Prodigy is badass though :D

Yea most of his music is really mellow but he has a few song's that will get you pumped. Those song's are just what I use when I put people's stuff in for them to listen to how the x-over points and speakers sound when I have them setup.

You guys want a test album that I cut? Basically, it's 50 tracks all about 1 minute long. I have written documentation on each song telling you what to listen for too. It's basically the highest quality recordings I could find. They're all divided up into different sections (Tuning, staging, vocals, hi-fidelity, unique, bass).

I would like this. I just test with test tones and voltage with my DMM. Never thought about putting together a CD of HQ songs to hear a different wider range of music. I typically listen to dubstep so I'm tuned pretty much for lows/highs and not a ton of mids.. Put on some CCR, sounds horrible.

As for what song I use after I tune: Skrillex - Bangarang and Kyoto.
