I just bought some wheel spacers... but a buddy of mine who works at a dodge dealership says the void my CPO warranty...
Please tell me he's wrong... or I'll have to wait until December to put them on. And that's a long time for them to just sit in my closet :(

Only if the dealer can prove that its the CAUSE of whatever issue you're having.

If you have wheel bearing troubles, remove the spacers before going in for warranty, or be prepared to suck it up and repair on your own dime. The dealer really doesn't need to prove anything, if it becomes their opinion that an aftermarket part or accessory caused a certain failure, you are getting the short end of the stick in most cases.

ya i've been digging through all the warranty stuff and it seems like all i can find is "Any use of the vehicle not recommended by the manufacture in your Owner's manual, supplement and/or guide will void this warranty." So i checked the owners manual, and looked through all the wheel and tire stuff and couldn't find anything.

put them on. they wont even notice them. worst case it voids the warranty on wheel bearings, nothing else they can potentially damage.

They can't deny you coverage on anything unrelated to your modification or aftermarket parts. Magnussen Moss Act.

^^ So obviously, if something arises because I put wheel spacers on it would not be covered and I would have to pay.
but i'm worried it will void everything. ive had some very crappy experiences at a toyota dealership (not from the technician staff, they've been great) so i just dont want something to come up and them say "well you have aftermarket market parts so we don't cover your truck any longer..."

Like I said, they can not void your entire warranty like that. You are protected under law.

They can't do that, only if the modification is directly related (in their minds) to the issue you have, which in this case might be only if you run into wheel bearing issues.
Like other's have said, if your bearings fail (which the spacers should not impact them that much), then just take the spacers off before taking in to the dealer. If they ask you if you had spacers it will have to be your call at that time if you want to admit or lie:cool: about it, and there should not be anything that would be able to give them the idea that you had it.
