Is that even comfortable to ride? It doesn't look like it to me. Just curious.

Comfortable is a relative term, but I think its pretty comfortable for a Sportster. With that being said I don't plan on taking it on any long road trips either. Its mainly used around town. The suspension on a Nightster is not super forgiving though. I prefer my hands up higher on the apes, I find its a more relaxed riding position.

Like to keep the revs up around 9,000 to 11,000 for max power & engine braking. Riding twisties with a 300lb bike is a hoot. This one has 16" wheels and running Pirelli (Bias Ply) MT75 tires. They are real sticky, but don't last long.

Made this short video with the little Green machine :D:

Has anyone ridden a moped for an extended period of time? I'm looking to get one this summer to ride to work and back because at a 10 minute drive through one way streets and pretty heavy traffic it really wouldn't be worth it to start up the truck and drive it IMO. Anything to look for? Any brands/models better than the others?

My '09 Shadow 750 when I bought it:

    Completely stock.

    Now:

I gotta do something about the stock mirrors...other than that, it's exactly the way I want it. K&N filter, I re-jetted the carburetor, Vance & Hines straight-shot pipes, 18" apes w/ stainless braided cables.

My Suzuki 185 from 1977. I got it when I was in middle school. Still have it and it runs great. My brother decided to paint it yellow - he likes to play.

Nice shot of the Kids on the bike.

Took my Grandson for his first motorcycle ride on a CRF two weeks ago.
    He Loved it! :)

Here's a shot from my 250 ride today. Got 338 miles in!

I picked up this 76 Yamaha IT400C on Craigs List for $725.00. It has alot of top end and will make your eyes water and your heart beat fast when you get on it.[IMG]

This is a over crowded garage nightmare. No room to work on anything. When you want to ride you have to move three bikes to get the one you want. It does keep me from buying more bikes though. The two 82 yamaha it250j models are rippers and can go anywhere.[IMG]
